Human trafficking is a very legitimate banner we use to attack the real problem and that’s immigrants coming to this country and not paying their taxes.

There is sex trafficking, not as rampant in the AMP markets we frequent, but it's definitely out there. I've come across some escorts that were in sketchy situations. Some of the major metro spas seem to move a lot of women through the mill as well. Not accusing anyone on this forum directly, but some of the girls clearly did not want to be there. Who would want to do this job? Maybe not the right question. But humans have a certain intuition when things are not right. Sadly, I've had my intuition alarms go off more than I care to mention.
I’ve never had alarms anywhere I’ve frequented that the girls weren’t relatively free to walk out. But I have helped extricate girls a couple times. Once where the spa owner locked away her street clothes for safekeeping along with her passport and refused to give them back until she finished the month she signed up for. The shop was a BDSM specialty and she found out she hated it after a week. The other was a girl who went to AC to a 24 hour spa, and couldn’t deal with the drugged out girls she was working with, yet had no idea how to get home. Neither of those were sex slavery to me. Just informal deals gone bad.

Generally the DAs represent the following:
1. The girls were tricked into doing this work, thinking they were going as maids or nanny’s.
2. They were confined to a shop, unable to leave, sometimes chained to beds.
3. Their money was taken away from them completely
4. They were working in servitude to the owners, working off a debt they owe for getting in the country.

I’ve never seen any of these to be true. If I did, I’d call the cops, even as much as I dislike cops.

Some illegal immigrants do pay taxes, as it helps them with their application for papers later. Drug organizations are the number one tax evader.

That's what I read as well. Just wasn't sure how it applied to the article.

Historically, the US took extreme measures to fix this problem. They passed a law preventing entry of any Chinese females. It was meant to prevent Chineses from being born here, but one of the reasons used was to prevent trafficking for prostitution. That was over 100 years ago. Didn't work then, won't work now.
Prostitution should be considered therapy !

Multiplied by the thousands of massage places all across the county it would come out to be a little more than a lil bit
I'm confused. I'm stating they pay taxes, even if it's a fraction of their true income. That little bit multiplied by the thousands can be a significant amount of tax revenue. So what are you saying here?

I’m saying if the massage parlors paid the correct amount of taxes as you and every other tax paying American, there would be no need for a wall and we wouldn’t have our law enforcement recourses executed in such of a lame cause like human trafficking

Well, that's a 180 from saying they don't pay any at all.

They pay taxes on the FULL earnings? Think again
I hate to burst you "Send them home" bubble, but I know a hell of a lot of flag waving Rednecks and WASP city dwellers who make a hell of a lot more than they declare.

And let's not forget the billionaires who spend a few bucks to grease palms and get laws changed so they legally pay zero taxes (a certain president come to mind?). Or the trail of "influences" (read "contributions") that shapes the recent tax reform.

But for you the "real problem" is the huge tax sink of AMP workers. Right.

Please quit turning yet another discussion into a MAGA slogan fest and get back on the sex trafficking topic?

More fake news here. Trumps last tax return in 2005 showed he paid 38 million that year. Illegals cost us billions each year can't wait for open borders and free health care.

Another MAGA nut hijacking the thread from trafficking to illegal immigration. There are lots of politics boards out there, please wander over there.

[But if you refuse to stay on topic, how much did he pay in the last 13 years?]

You did seem to start this with "redneck" and "maga" comment...it was basically civil up to that point.

Undocumented immigrants pay out $11 billion a year. Biggest waste is ice. Keep drinkin that koolaid!

For those of you who are not interested to read a novel and/or dissertation, move on.

First and Foremost, I speak for myself. I really thank Top Jimmy for implementing this website because I have not seen the term AMPR anywhere on media as opposed to the RM. I really appreciate this site. We have been fortunate so far and I believe our fortunate lucks will continue if we use our brains wisely.

Most comments above were great from different perspectives and their knowledge.

Vongruber78 is correct that the le and politicians are involved behind the doors. I know one case because I witnessed it myself. As for others, I do not know and I am entitled to stereotype the politicians and le because they stereotype “all” massage parlors are illicit, which we know is not true.

Marines are not involved in trafficking. I am sure some of the military individuals regardless of being Navy, Army or Marines are in mongering recreation because they are humans as well.

Libel only applies to civil. Libel does not apply to criminal. Unless falsely accused of criminal activity and can turn 180 degrees and apply for civil libel.

Sex trafficking is out there. A national renowned organization realized that the term “sex” trafficking was so negative, and to make things easier was to say “human” trafficking to keep things broader with tons and tons of bologna excuses from the politicians.

Massage parlors do pay taxes. They pay sales tax. Gas tax, and list goes on. As for income taxes, they do pay taxes on that as well at the minimum. Say, grossed 200k a year. Business expenses 30k a year, they may report 40k gross minus 30k expenses to pay taxes on 10k. It applies the same to immigrants. They are entitled to pay less taxes as billionaires do.

I am not sure if our armed forces were underpaid for serving our country because they reap huge benefits in the long run. The human trafficking, according to history, started way before military were in place.

Prostitution should be considered therapy. The Asian thinking has been considering massage as therapy. Therefore, we may want to follow their thinking and consider massage as our therapy in lieu of saying prostitution.

In conclusion, again, I thank TJ for this site to stimulate our sanities, otherwise, we may have more mental wards out there. Again, most of your comments were very good with different perspectives and experiences. I really appreciate this site and your dialogues.

Go back and check where the hijacking started--it was not my post. I did not bring in the politics, but when someone else does I feel quite justified in calling them out about it.
