I'm a late appt guy as well, as the ladies are more relaxed and I enjoy that vibe. An extra few minutes can happen, but don't expect that to be sexy time, it's just playful or cuddles as she cleans up for the evening or something. YMMV if you become a super regular.
Some are morning people and some are night people, so it energy levels vary. Just don't go for Fri/Sat last appt unless it's a regular, as they tend to be fully booked -> tired.
If it is your first time getting a late slot, make sure you don't have the "eew, 5 guys fucked you earlier today" flinch reaction. Deal with your feelings ahead of time, as it's just rude during the session. Makes very little difference in general unless it's shitty girl at a shitty org that doesn't wash herself properly between sessions. Do an extra slow BT if that bothers you.

The only concern is the RAs energy level at those late hours. I saw CarasAngels’ Jade once at 3pm. She fucked the hell out of me but after our romp she fell asleep on my chest. It was cute but I felt sorry for her because she must be working her ass off. She was very hard to schedule at the time.
The other concern is if the lady is a PSE povider. If you’re the last man in line, then you’re getting a whole lotta extras with that meal.

Second everything @Seconda said! YMMV for sure. Totally agree with you that you need to be able to control that flinch reaction.
I'm a late night/last appointment guy too, only exception is if booking when its the girls last day, as they generally leave before the night is over and you'll have to get to them earlier in the day. Never had any issues.

I prefer last appointments to all others. Yes it could happen that the girl is out of energy and just waiting to clock out. But most of the time that isn't the case.
I've gone over pluses multiple times but here they are again:
Strong possibility of going OT as there's no rush on the girls part. There's no next customer to clean up for, etc.
Again no rush means no squeezing your time. Last appointment you always get your hour. And then some.
Possibility of ymmv OT+. Invitations to hang out, go out or even sleep over.
Many girls reserve the last appt for a regular as to end up the day on a familiar note.
