Been thinking about the what remains in the city in terms of old school Korean spots.. yes, they're mostly older and can be argued that they're not as hospitable as the Chinese but I appreciate the different services.

How are the spots like Pro Spa (Empire), O'Cloud (Maiden Health) and others weathering the market? Any ones like these still left in the city?

The one you want to go to is City Place. That still has two old school ladies who bring back the yesteryear of old school Korean providers- Lexi and Arie.

Last time I saw Lisa at Pro/New Empire Spa she told me business hasn’t returned to pre Covid levels

How would you describe the old school Korean spots and how they differ from the current offerings? (I never went to a K spot)
Can't speak to FS spots as I don't have much experience there. But for regular services, I think Koreans tend to take better care of themselves at the expense of charging more. It may seem more scripted but also the customer service matches up. The older Korean ladies (40s - 50s) at those two HE spots have been consistent with their demeanor and service for years with quality massages, clean environment and overall hospitality.

Not generalizing btw, obviously every person is different. I simply prefer mature Korean ladies

It is from start to finish. A pleasant greeting upon arrival, help you undress, nice warm and relaxing table shower and dry you off. Back to the room for a non rushed excellent massage. Transition to ST almost flawlessly, the feather touch, reach under and cat bath, and the ear nibble.
When all festivities are done a nice warm towel clean up or another shower . Help you get dressed and most importantly tie your shoes.
That is 'Old School Korean ' at it's best.
