King Spa - Palisades Park

OK - I know this is a little different than most of the postings, but hear me out. I figure if I'm curious, others are as well.

King Spa in Palisades Park - it's a GIANT legit type spa with various rooms, amazing food, etc.

I also enjoy the locker room sauna with the giant bath and steam room etc.

Question - has anyone had anyone come on to them in there? I'm meaning another guy.

There's def some wandering eyes in there and some guys have given me the stare but I move on. Not that I probably wouldn't watch or touch, but not super into it. No judgement if you are.

Otherwise, I actually love it there. The cold room, hot room, steam room. The robes and even the lounge room where you can take naps.

That's my thoughts - let's hear what you guys have to say.

Check the cafeteria. They have a sweet rice juice which is traditional Korean food. It's delicious.

It’s a good venue apart from the sauna/steam which is now closed. Most the areas are coed and everyone is wearing provided shorts and t shirts. That said, SOJO in Edgewater is much more upscale (and double the price of King)

Sojo is Edgewater is for the younger crowd so it’s a very active and loud atmosphere.

King Sauna is more of a traditional and quiet atmosphere so most of the people are older.

The best time to go to King Sauna is during the day on a weekday. Weekends are the worst.

The body scrub ladies at King Sauna sell entrance tickets for half the price so buy it from them and they only accept cash. So have your wives or girlfriends buy it from them directly.

At King Sauna there were times when some men decided to cross the line inside the steam room.

Don't forget groupon. They usually have tickets on sale for King Spa there. Also, i heard rumors that King Spa is trying remodel and expand to compete with Sojo. Supposedly it's going to be similair to their Texas location.

King Sauna’s project has been postponed. Their customers are mostly older Koreans. Sojo’s customers are mostly young non-Koreans.
