I’ve called the last couple of weeks for this hall of farmer and mamasan has said she’s on vacation. Anyone know if this is a permanent vacation or just taking time off? Anyone been in touch with her?

Could be either.... Everyone and their cousin asks for her so mamasan has a habit of telling most people that she's "on vacation" to get them to see the rest of the lineup, but she has disappeared for a while before so maybe she's on sabbatical. It's not even worth asking over the phone. Just visit with the intent of walking out if you don't get her. You'll either be begged to wait or begged to try another girl.
