My 2 favorite.....The Reservoir Tavern in Boonton and Spiritos in Elizabeth.

Tried DeLorenzos in Robbinsville due to "reviews." Sucked. Hyped up and crowded with yuppies. They should have stayed in their old location. Typical kids took over from their parents and moved to a strip mall location. Ruined. People that have been to both the original and new location will never go back.

Nunzios in Long Branch. Outstanding. Good crisp. Thinner crust but not like a cracker type crust like Federici's. Vic's in Bradley Beach is real good, but to me Nunzios is better. Never had an issue with Maruca's in Seaside Heights. Delicious pizza. Was just there this past weekend. Good quality even on a slow cold day.

Just throwing my two cents out there…. Villa Pizza on Keansburg Boardwalk. One of the few places where the sauce makes the pizza
Funny this area of Monmouth county seems to have a lot of Villa Pizzas (Holmdel, Middletown, Now I hear of this one on Keansburg I need to try) and they are all good.

Funny story. Technically Villa Pizza in Keansburg is called Pizza V because of the amount of Villa Pizzas in the area. I just call it Pizza Villa out of habbit lol. Pizza V was the old short hand name of the place and they just ran with it.
I briefly lived in Bay Ridge and would make the trek to Spumoni Gardens occasionally, good stuff for sure. But I have to say I always loved Pizza Wagon on 5th Ave. They were open til like 2 am. I could stumble over as the bar closed and grab a nice Sicilian slice
