Is this article going to lead to busts?

I've got a theory as to why the kid decided to open his big mouth to the post:

The kid probably got curious and wanted to get a happy ending himself. Walks upstairs, doesn't know how the business works, and A) Probably chickened out or B) Said something stupid that got him kicked out. As he walks back into the street, either mommy dearest or someone close to him recognized him and he got scared so he faked the whole " I only wanted a massage" story.
C'mon now.....
I'd go with the other people who think it has something to do with his mother running an anti sex work group...

So many busts reported here, link below, and on other boards.

https://www.ampreviews.net/index.php?threads/couple-places-busted.90074/

Between the many post articles, there having been many aside from the one you've all been discussing, and it being an election year, its almost no surprise at all the bust are happening now and to such an extent despite any prior political declarations not to harm the ladies involved by ruining their lives with a rap sheet.

The busts are usually a response to nuisance complaints. I mentioned in another thread that Stars Spa has the yellow and orange stickers on the door and was shut down last week. The ladies used to sit outside on a chair and offer massage to anyone that walks by. When they weren't outside, they would sit inside the front window that frames them with a square cutout so you could see who is next. If you check Google Maps, you can even see a lady in the window when the image was taken o_O. You would think this is a scene from Amsterdam, but instead the place is at the border of JH between a laundrymat and a restaurant.

I would bet any one of you that several women complained about their husbands being overly-enthusiasic about doing laundry. She probably couldn't find her guy during the spin cycle and lodged a complaint about the spa next door. After too many complaints, the bust was organized.

It really changes nothing though. They busted a 2-3 person operation that wasn't very popular. There are better choices within 5 blocks in both directions, including another that was shut down and reopened 3 weeks later. They also didn't try to bust the bigger operations like the hot block in the 80's, the well known Latina groups or the Bengali shops on the side streets. There are over 50 choices within one mile of that bust.

It's not a lack of awareness like the article is implying. It's just a waste of city resources. The next wave of owners will just set up shop again - just like Stars Spa was formerly Seven Stars Spa, and I'm sure it will reopen as another spa soon.

Wow at that point it's their own fault too.

A few years back there was a massive bust all along Metropolitan. Most places had been there for years but then a new places opened up and was brazen, talking huge window stickers covering the front with massage depictions yet the glass front door opened into a double closet sized space leading to a solid door with a camera and key pad. The NIMBY crowd got on the right away I don't even think they were open more than 6 months and in the process they got L E O to bust at least a half dozen others that were hidden really well but I guess L E O was tolerant since no one had noticed enough to complain.
