My one concern with using any hotel/motel is bedbugs. Always check the underside of the mattress, especially in the seams (if at all possible). You think crabs are difficult to get rid of? Try bedbugs!

I second that. Whenever I do visit independents that’s a concern. About two months back walked into a situation where just a bed on the floor, mattress actually, saw some tiny black spots on the mattress and knew what it was. Even if the provider is clean, how many guys are visiting? And some, well...
