not really much different than american porn industry. there's a documentary called "after porn ends" and a sequel "after porn ends 2" that interview former actresses. they either get really religious, real estate brokers, or become nurses (usually elderly care), but will get fired once their employers find out they're former porn stars due to potential sexual harassment fears.

in the butterfly effect, they interviewed a male star. he got out of the business, put him through nursing school, and working at a hospital and had no issues, until someone recognized him and reported it to HR. he was fired and couldn't find another job.

Much of what she says could be echoed by most of the providers this forum is about. It’s the side of the sex worker world we don’t want to acknowledge so we compartmentalize and deny just as they do to participate. No doubt the whole enterprise is dysfunctional.
