Remember mongers, security is the #1 most important thing in this hobby. I got sloppy and started using my real cell phone number to call providers. Now they used an online data broker to track down where I live, they have my wife's name and cell phone number and are texting both me and her. Don't be like me, always use a fake name, burner cell phone, burner e-mail, don't give any personal details, make up a fake job, fake town where you live, fake everything if you feel the need to engage in small talk. Remember no provider cares about you. You are just an ATM. Don't risk your marriage by being sloppy. It might feel nice to open up and let down your guard with a provider and talk about your real life, but DON'T DO IT. Learn from my mistakes, take security seriously like your life depends on it.

You should of remove your main number from the internet, I have used my main before bro anymore but I have and I just make sure they can’t look me up anywhere. You can do that with your phone provider or google how to do it.

Wouldn’t the damage be done already by then threatening to tell your wife and by that imply you would get divorced?? didn’t they just give up the only leverage they have which would be if you don’t give us money we will tell your wife?? That's exactly what I was thinking. How is this blackmailing if they already called his wife? If she already knows there is no point in even responding to them.

I've thought about this "silent agreement" mongers enter into (pardon the pun) with providers. We each are supposed to keep our mouths shut (well, one of us, at least). If she tells *your* secret, isn't she admitting she's taking money for sex, which is illegal? She's in trouble, too.
