I chose a STEM major in college because it was engrain in our culture. You'll hear a lot of elders say never go into economics or law or business because you aren't good at socializing. I soon realized it was negative talk and negative talk limits our capacity to achieve by 10 fold.

Looking back I wish I have done economics and go into investment banking or quant trading.

Most people can't tell the difference between different Asian ethnicities even Asians themselves can't. Every Asian ethnicity has pale skin, light tan skin, and dark tan skin. Actually the main point of this thread is really about how disappointed my life has turn up. If I were to go back I probably make more of an effort to make friends in college. College is the last chance to make friends since it is the last place where people are in your age group and in the same period of their lives.

Once you reach work it’s hard to get out there because you’ve been so used to not socializing. Also at work people less make little to no effort being friends.
