For the newbies out there, many reviews are written by people who have a vested interest in driving traffic to certain establishments rather than sharing objective intel.

While there is no way to 100% for sure know if any given review is a shill review, hopefully this thread will help the less experienced avoid wasting time and money because a shill writes a glowing review that does not match services.

Please, experienced members, add your own guidelines.

#1 - If the reviewer has only one review to their name but writes like a veteran, be cautious.

#2 - If the review is for a brand new provider (new to the city or 1st time being mentioned on the board) but is written by #1, be doubly cautious.

#3 - If a reviewer only reviews the same 2 or 3 shops, beware.

These are all cautionary rules. If a review matches any of these criteria, best to wait for a more seasoned contributor to weigh in if you are worried about T1FTT.

Or take the bait but make sure your expectations are calibrated accordingly.

Also, shills serve as a valuable early warning alert system for those who want to T1FTT, drawing attention to the availability of new providers.

Just know that some of the reviews that makes you go "wowza" are written intentionally as marketing tools.

Enjoy your new hobby and have fun.

I will say that the more time I spend on this site the more obvious the shills are. I think I see the most shills in the discussion section, people hyping some provider but not actually leaving any reviews.

So I guess that's what I would add: someone who defends/hypes in the discussion but doesn't leave reviews, is a sure sign of a shill.

Shill or white knight? I get someone being defensive about “their” girl — as opposed to some who is deliberately saying shit because they’re associated with, or getting perks from, a spa. The former is wearing boner-goggles, the latter is a liar.

I don’t agree entirely with #3, I personally go to places little closer or accessible to it look suspicious, so it can potentially end up being very few shops.

There are at least two kinds of shills, maybe three but the third might not be a shill because he doesn't really profit from his work.

1. The shops themselves with multiple accounts that make fake reviews and comments.
2. The mongers who get some kind of deal in exchange for positive reviews.
3. The thread bumpers, soliloquizers and bandwagon jumpers. Guys who fall in love or become obsessed with a girl, a shop or a mms. Also guys who want to see a girl because all the other guys have seen her (which has always seemed a little weird to me honestly) so they can join in the experience and talk about it. Not shilling exactly but does have a similar result of inflating value.

I'm definitely in the 3rd category. Not all of it, but when I fall for a provider I do like to rhapsodize about her on here. It feels good. I enjoy participating in discussions about my favorite providers and I know I come off as a shill sometimes. And if I see a particularly harsh attack on someone I like very much, which I can't actually recall, I would probably chime in and dispute the review if it seemed mean or factually inaccurate.

I guess what I'm saying is there is a line between being a shill and a fan. I'm actually interested in what fans have to say and I enjoy reading their posts. What bothers me is the first type of shill you mention, those are not authentic reviews and comments. They're from people who have not ever experienced the provider as a customer, and bring down the quality of the entire board. Fans, on the other hand, might be over-enthusiastic, but what they're expressing is authentic to their experience and feelings about the provider. And their enthusiasm adds value to the site, I think.

Yeah man. And that third category, I'm right there with you. Full on repeat offender status, I advocate for it here. I think a little love and familiarity go a long way. Also it's hard once you're in the zone with a provider not to be a white knighter. Even the best reviewer on amp, indeed the best review writer in the vast hooker reviewing universe @BrettKavanaugh has been known to succumb.

Let's make more distinctions:

A. Those who love to fall in love, previously referred to as the soliloquizers. I'm one.
B. The pig pilers, the 11th man in line at the gang bang. The guys who like to see the girls who have already seen all the other guys. In short, the Yankees fans.
C. The conversationalists, previously referred to as thread-bumpers. In a universe of oddballs these may be the oddest of the bunch. These are often guys who don't play the game IRL so much but do know how pr and the hooker forums work. Maybe they should be called the retirees.

There you have it. Until I bump the thread again.

It should also be noted that each individual have their own standards on what they consider a good/amazing/bad experience.

I have read reviews about provider who a monger thought was beautiful/model-like with an amazing service when I myself have seen that same girl and experienced exactly what he wrote about but thought she was meh. Was he a shill? I didn't think he was at all. I myself just have higher standards/had experienced better but the way he wrote the review just made it sound like she was the best thing in the world which can be very misleading.

Bingo. I am seeing more and more of this. Sometimes I am tempted to ask the "monger" if they are a female or a provider.

Question, not that there are a lot of FAT girls working, or THICK as some others would call them, if you are a monger and you think she is hot, would you say MODEL material or just keep that moniker for thin gals.
