I will be house sitting on the UWS for a few months and the family wants the apartment cleaned. As in, a professional cleaning job. They are giving me a stipend to get this done.
I’m wondering if anyone here has any leads on a maid ‘service’. I’m open to everything - just a skimpy outfit, full monty, and of course, if any extra services are on the menu.

I honestly doubt those "topless maid" services actually do a thorough cleaning. It's like expecting a legit massage at an AMP. Possible, but rare. You're probably better off going with a legit cleaner who charges way less, and using the savings to go to an AMP.

If you are getting paid to house sit and your employer expects the house to be cleaned, don't fuck around. Get a good cleaning service so you can get another gig with the recommendation

It’s a friend, not an employer per se, but yes your advice is valid.

not for nothing but a spray bottle with 10:1 water :bleach mix in bathroom and kitchen changes everything. just spritz the shower, sinks after use. rinse. house smells fresh as hell. Hell i tell you.

Nanny cams are extremely tiny and available on amazon for a few bucks. Even more annoying but less prevalent are trail cams / battery powered cams. If I had to risk it I'd flip off the breaker box and unplug the network cable from the wireless router as noob counter surveillance.
