You still got your session with your desired girl.
But yeah, the sense I'm getting is that this shit happens from time to time. And I shouldn't be surprised - these places aren't too far removed from the fast houses. So I can't expect solid scheduling from these high volume places, as appts slip through the cracks.
Sure. Those two times.
But of course over the years there have been other times with many agencies when they tried to push a different girl on me.
For all sorts of reasons. Probably most of them lies.
Lots of lying in this business.
Is it annoying when it happens? Yes.
Is it worth allowing myself to get stressed out? No way.
FYI, there is one agency that sort of does run like UPS (the tightest ship in the shipping business).
And one time last year, after driving to Secaucus for an appt I had made weeks (yes weeks) in advance, they had me wait for an hour.
So I went and got a hamburger and a beer.
Then told me to wait another 30 mins. Because "they were working on the toilet in the hotel", I was told.
Then they told me they didn't know when the room was going to be available and was up to me if I wanted cancel. Which I did.
I am sure their was nothing wrong with the toilet. The girl was most likely simply not answering her cell for whatever reason, and the agency could not send me up there.
Trust me when tell you that agency is FAR from a fast house.
It's simply the nature of the business. Flakes...flakes everywhere...
