Hobby with a Cast

Broke my wrist the other day and have to wear a short arm cast for the next month or so. Would you consider visiting an RA with a cast? Of course the shower routine would be compromised because you gotta keep it dry. I wear a "condom" on the cast in the shower, AKA a plastic newspaper bag. Wonder what the girl would say? What do you think? Would you book an appointment, or patiently wait for the cast to be removed?

i would not let it slow me down. At most they will ask how you broke your arm. I wear a medical device on my arm and most of the time they don't say anything. Occasionally they will ask me what it is and sometimes are concerned that it is related to my heart (which it is not).

Had a foot injury that put me in a walking boot for a long time. Never had an issue. Just sharing my experience. And yes they will make it work
