Hacked?!?

A few days ago, I got an email from a site I haven't visited in years. Similar content to this, but broader in scope (not just AMP). The email claimed they had hacked this site and since the owner would not pay, they would release MY info (name, IP address, email, etc.) if I didn't pay bitcoin. They included screenshots of comments that I actually did write years ago, and the dates and discussions rang true. Again, I haven't been on the site for years. I moved. New ISP. And the email address has always been a junk bin.

And no, I didn't pay anything. Email was marked as junk, and domain blocked.

Nowadays, I use VPN, incognito mode, and run several scanning programs regularly. Just a cautionary tale.

Yeah I got the same garbage in my email junk box as well.
So it knew right where to go.

They put snippets of some of my IMs in the email, to prove to me how "serious" they are about exposing me.
And...

"not just that, we have almost everything, your full name, IP address, social media accounts, messages and photos from t*******.com members,
payment on t*******.com, your full address, phone numbers, and more."

Oh, the horror!
They will tell the world that I see hookers!!!
Whatever shall I do???
