The ongoing thread about the guy who got caught texting got me wondering how many of you have wives who condone amping and understand it as a value to a long term relationship.

After a decades long relationship with a woman who I respect and with whom I've had great times, great sex and great kids the sex part wears a little thin and if you're a randy fucker like me, sex becomes kind of a burden on the relationship. Enter the amp. It has a solved a problem for both of us but only one of us knows what the solution is.

I'm curious to hear from any of you- if there are any-whose wives are aware of amping and look at it like going to the gym with a trainer or going for a normcore massage. Are there any of you guys out there?

I’m an athlete, so wife knows I get massages from Asian women because they give the strongest therapeutic massage…. It’s a necessity ;)

My wife and I haven’t had sex in about 4 years or so. She’s not attracted to me anymore and honestly I’m not that attracted to her either. We still love each other, just sexually there’s nothing. She knows I see providers and is ok with it as long as she oks the provider.

That wife would be a unicorn.
99.9% of providers are women and I would say 99.9% of women/wives think men who go to the spas, etc. are disgusting. Bring it up when you’re out to dinner with a group and see the reaction. They just don’t get it and think we’re all happy.
And btw 99.9% of people who go to see Asian women, etc. are men, not wives.

I decided to tell my SO about my occasional massages, strip club visits, etc from the start. She asked a few questions and said well I guess it's good for your overall well being, probably helps with stress and since you exercise so much it has to help relax your muscles, all of them. As we progressed she told me that even though we are getting serious she didn't want me to stop going occasionally since everything seems really good. She became curious and asked if she could come watch and possibly help some. That was fun, then she wanted to see what it felt like so I found an indy that worked on girls. So now we both enjoy some fun once in a while. She actually goes more frequently and comes home with a big smile.

When the Curb your Enthusiasm episode came out where Larry got a happy ending my wife asked me if I ever did that and I said of course I did. I told her its like jerking off but someone else doing the work. No attachment, no feelings. She got it and is ok with me going. The only restriction is she will not have sex with me the night I come home from a treatment.

I am not an athlete but I used to do a lot of sports when I was younger. Now I have a complicated problem with my knee and good massages that relax all muscles in the back and thighs are actually very good for me. And when I tell my wife that no frills Asian massage places in Manhattan are actually cheaper then the Caucasian run spas, she is very happy that I save us money :)

Massage or even massage+HJ is one thing, and you may be able to explain that this is the holistic massage amps offer. Intercourse is something else, and I highly doubt that most wives would accept.

Have you considered taking her to one of those wife exchange sex clubs in Bushwick?

I've never tried it myself but the idea fascinates me.
