Hello gentlemen,

I am starting this thread because on a thread that I started not long ago (SOMETHING POSITIVE) a few contributors started sharing their favorite greatest moments in sports history.

So, at the suggestion of my friend Mr. Pafor14, we have decided to just make this a thread of it's own! So far we have already mentioned "The Miracle On Ice", Chris Chambliss' walk off HR in the 1976 playoffs vs. The Kansas City Royals, and Kirk Gibson's HR in the 1988 WS vs. The Oakland A's, to name but a few.

Please feel free to share yours!

Germany vs Brazil 2014...
That 7-1 pounding was cheered by everyone in South America. Fuck those Brazilians who thought their cup was automatically won.

Only felt bad for the old timer holding a world cup replica.

Remember the Brazilian flag replica with 7 soccer balls scattered throughout the flag...too funny.

So many.
Here are a few.

- Yankees beat Red Sox in 78 one game playoff - Dent's homer and Guidry's 25th win. He should hav ebeen the MVP that year.
- Of course the 80 US Hockey Team. Mike Eruzione goal.
- NC State over Houston in 83 on Lorenzo Charles last second dunk.
- Villanova over Georgetown in 85. That shot by Harold Jensen.
- Giants in '87 Superbowl - McConkey and Bavaro in the end zone.
- Seton Hall comeback vs Duke in 89 Final Four. And of course the Hall coming back in the 2nd half against Michigan. They were robbed on a bad call!
- Giants over 49ers in 91. Taylor causing the fumble that led to the field goal. And beating the Bills in the SB.
- 96 Yanks WS!
- 98 Yanks Whole Season! Tino's GS against Kevin Brown
- 99 Yanks -- WS Paul O'Neil vs John Rocker
- 2000 - Beating the Mets! Luis Sojo's single.
- 2001 - Those home runs by Tino and Brosius.
- 2003 - Aaron Boone's walk off
- 2009 - Hideki Matsui's last game as a Yankee - going out with a bang and beating those Phillies!
- 2008 - Giants over Pats. Eli's scramble and that catch!
- 2012 - Giants over Pats again and another great Eli throw and catch!
- 2017 - Villanova over UNC on that last second pass and shot.

Minnesota Vikings DE Jim Marshall runs a fumble all the way...albeit the wrong way.

Leon Lett's touchdown run spoiled by Don Beebe.

Cliff Harris getting in Roy Gerela's face after missing field goal only to catch the wrath of one Jack Lambert.

Yes there are great negative moments as well.

Easy. The 2016 finals with lebron and the cavs.

First team in nba history to come back from a 3-1 deficit to win the title.

Ended the 52 year sports drought for Cleveland.
As always giving my age away but 1951 the shot heard round the world Bobby Thomson homer off Ralph Branca, NL playoffs at beloved Polo Grounds.

Nice but how about 2004 Bosox ending 86 year drought including rallying from 3-0 deficit in ALCS against Yankees.

And last but not least the Lovable Losers Chicago Cubs 2016, ending 108 year drought.

And we can't forget 1994 NY Rangers Stanley Cup, ending 54 year drought, to all Islanders fans...1940. 1940.....1940.
