Nowadays there are alot of spam txt from unknown people trying to scam. You should be fine with just saying its a scam txt message. I did a few times when i was with my SB and she believed me.

Cancel the appointment. Use a google phone number. Disconnect apple text sync from your device to the cloud. You need to lay low for a awhile. Sandy palmer and her five sisters will have to do until you can figure how to get out of this.

Much easier to just use an app on your phone just have notifications off for it and throw the app in a random folder

No, she doesn't want to know or believe that you're doing something else.
Years ago my SO got into my car and found my SBs phone. It must've fallen in the seat and she pulled it out. I said i gave a guy from work a ride and it was his girlfriend's phone that he took from her when they were fighting. He was a dope and it must've fallen out of his pocket.My SO didn't blink an eye and never discussed it again.
