General question about "reviews"

I have seen items, at times,in the reviews section, whether indy or MP,where the monger walks in,does not like what he sees, and leaves without having any session at all.
First of all,I will never criticize anyone for doing that.
My only question is,since you never even started the session,is that really a review?
I am only talking of thse that split immediately,as I have at times, had great,or at least good service, from those that were not my type

Id call it a review albeit a short review, atleast the person made the effort and did meet up with the provider. Someone gets ghosted by a provider or scammed and doesnt even meet id say no review. Im sure the mods have some guidelines about what they give credit for.

I’d say consider it a review as long as there’s a description of the provider. Those “no recommendations” are important and if people don’t get review credit they might not leave them .. lol
Interesting ,because some, just go,girl was much older,or heavier,or sometimes, not the girl in the photo.
I wonder if that gets them credit

I'm on the fence on this. I've always appreciated Yelp reviews where customers walk out before even getting seated due to a variety of significantly negative factors (filthy tables/chairs, pests, rude servers, etc). Should those not be considered reviews? It certainly saves others from a potentially terrible meal. On the flip side, it also easily opens up to review-padding. Which is the lesser of the 2 evils?

If, for whatever reason, a member writes a "review" where a session did NOT take place, it won't earn access credit (approval). It will still stay up in the forum though.

We're not saying that it's not helpful information because it is, but we cannot approve (and thereby give access credit) for a review that's posted where a transaction did not take place. Of course, there might be rare exceptions like a member goes in, pays and decides to walk out in the middle of a session because of something (usually negative) that took place like an upsell, or bad attitude, or something like that.

But in cases of bait and switch, or a provider that the member had an appointment with is delayed or otherwise not available and the member decided to walk, again, that's not a session taking place and does not earn approval and access credit.

Again, just because a review is viewable in the forum does NOT mean it earned access credit.

Even if they met the provider and did not go through with the session, it's not considered a review.

In fact, if a member writes an experience where he paid for a session and then was scammed or something (provider ran off with the money or some other rare instance like that), we might consider approving the review. Why? Because the member made an attempt to see the provider, paid for the transaction, and was parted with his money through no fault of his own.

And while an instance of B&S or dirty facilities or if a member has an overall bad feeling is not their fault either, an instance of walking is not a review, even though his time was wasted.

To be clear, you can still POST about it...it's just that it won't earn access credit.

Consider what you'd settle for at an amp if push came to shove. If it's so bad for any reason a monger didn't just go with it I want to avoid that place.

Not saying it's not a valid comment.
My original question was since,in thosecases,he ran,and not everyone has same taste in looks,a review should mention service level.
But that has since been explained in other posts here.

Maybe its more of a "pattern of repeat behavior" issue.

If the Monger says Hell No and walks, and describes everything leading up to that decision, then that is a review...................one that can save the rest of us a lot of wasted time and money and headache. Kudos to them for the TOFTT.

But if the same Monger keeps doing it multiple times or for places/providers that have tons of good feedback, then I would call it a scammer phishing for review credits to get access they didn't really earn.

I guess I'm really just saying that's a moderator judgement call more then anything else.
