It all depends on finances and situations in our personal life. Go with your needs and likes. If you can afford it and have some good ones lined up, then go for it. It has always been a personal choice in my view. Some guys go for it weekly, some monthly, and some once or twice per year.

Likes rooc74 said everyone’s situation is different I used to go every 2 weeks because I had a weekday off with no family around. Now it’s not as often because I don’t have the time but if I did I would be spending a lot
I have a buddy that could probably buy an exotic car as often as he goes a month

The only thing that I can share is that in my hey-day between the early 1970's and for the most part up to about 5 years ago, I was typically on average a 2 to 3 times per month guy. There was one exception to that time-period and that was between around 1979 and 1982 or so.
