Stop being a cheap bastard and buy yourself a car. Trips to Queens and Brooklyn will be quick.

Flushing is cheaper but service in Manhattan is better and most times Manhattan has better looking girls.
You won't fare better with a car as traffic on Grand Central and BQE/LIE is virtually a nightmare at all hours of the day time. Including Triboro.

Also stop telling other people what to do with their money :sneaky:

The irony of this comment is so rich; I love it.

For those familiar with the Flushing AMP scene... is it worth it to venture out there, vs. mongering in Manhattan, especially if using mass transit?

For those of us using the good ole’ MTA, the trip out and back comes to about an HOUR, so it better be worth our time, either in DISCOUNTED rates, or HOTTER “pros” to make it worth our while to venture out so far.

What say you, gents?
Think about what you just said. Why should they discount their rates if there are people who actually live in Queens. It's far for you but not for them. Should Manhattan AMPs give discounts if guys have to come from Long Island or New Jersey?

Ma dude, how LONG how you lived in NY?

I was just putting AMPs in the same economic context as everything else in the city, where almost EVERYTHING is CHEAPER in the outer boroughs (rent, food, etc.).

Figured AMPs would operate under the same conditions.

But overall, I can attest to what the other guys have already said. Manhattan is the cream of the crop and you're going to pay that premium. In Flushing, you get what you pay for. Cheaper rates but older, uglier providers working out of places that range from 'okay' to 'dungeon'. Manhattan is like going to an NBA game and Flushing is the D-League. Same game....just lower quality.

Born and raised in Manhattan and the Bronx, my friend. 46 years back when the tokens had a hole in the middle. Back when there WERE tokens. :)

But I get what you're saying and yes, the rates are slightly cheaper out there but it doesn't even out. You're going to pay a slightly lower price than Midtown but for SIGNIFICANTLY lower quality. Sounds like you're curious about what's out here and let me tell you that you're not missing much of anything. It's extremely 'hit or miss' out here and now there's a law enforcement crackdown in some popular areas so things are even worse.

Could it be that Manhattan mongers have TOO high standards, as you’ll read a lot of guys here describe Manhattan “pros” looks as “average” or below?

“Dungeon,” huh? Hmmm... :unsure::ROFLMAO:

Not really. I went to go check it out. I don't now nor have I ever frequented there. Good try though. I get the saving money but to save money on a Woman who looks like she can be picking up cans for a living seems a bit much!!

Ah, a fellow old school Bronxite! Now, you gonna have all the “millienials” asking, “wtf is a TOKEN?”:ROFLMAO:

Got curious since I took the trip to Queens to go to “DH,” so figured I’d try Flushing while I’m at it.

Looks like it’s not worth it.

Thx, bro. :(
