I was just reading an interesting thread about a monger who owns a tesla and his wife has access to the app and tracked him. I was wondering if anyone has the "Find My" issue where locations of phones are shared amongst the family? Any tips and tricks to navigating that where it's unknown to the other people?

Yea the car companies and government SUCK.So I started reading my owners manual for my new truck. The first 17 fuckin pages had to do with you giving up your privacy if you sync your phone with the vehicle. They get access to your contacts, access to your text messages, , and so in. Hell today I am looking up in the headliner and see something that looks like a mic. Motherfuckers are probably listening in on me too. And the government let's them violate out privacy and says nothing. This country is truly FUCKED UP!!!

the mic is for your bluetooth, it allows you to use your phone in your car hands free (which is the law btw when driving and using your phone).

I think if you do that and someone goes in and clicks on you it says "John is no longer sharing their location" or something like that.
it does. But after you leave the amp area you turn location services back on. Then if questioned by a SO as to why they got the ".....no longer sharing" message you just say "I don't know".

lol nice. I heard somewhere else to just put the device in airplane mode. I need to test it and see what is seen on the other end.

Not true. If you turn off location services then the other person will just see location unavailable - different from having the message “this person is no longer sharing its location”. The downside is that you won’t be able to use any navigation apps while you have location services off.

Deny, deny, deny. Always say you were at an establishment nearby. For example if you go to 785 in Passaic just say you were eating KFC across the street. Scope out the other businesses in the area first so you don’t get caught lying.

These responses are bandaids on the cut. Try couples therapy and establish autonomy for a long term healthy relationship. Do you track her? Exactly.
