For the longest time I believed going to spas in Italian suits was impressing my favorites and leading to better service. If they just called me handsome I’d be like “thanks, I kinda agree, but I know I’m paying you to compliment me.” But saying “other guys dress like slobs!” sold me. That’s how the competitive male mind works.
Eventually, I started to notice how convinced other mongers were that ladies loved their cargo pants and baseball hats. God bless all you casual dressers, I mean that. My point is the lies are a bigger part of the service than the mechanical pleasures. And I’m all for enjoying the lies for all their worth, just don’t be repeating the shit that comes out they mouth as “intelligence.”
