East Coast to West Coast

Hi all. I’m wondering how I can best break into the scene in South Bay. I’m in good standing with NYC amps/agencies. But, I have no refs on the west coast. I’ve read good things about korgs like lsc, ca, gfei etc and corgs like bunnyhouse and watersnake. But, I don’t want reach out without refs, piss them off, and then get ignored indefinitely.

So, any advice on the following would be appreciated:
(1) Which orgs have the most relaxed screening? And do any orgs screen without requiring refs?
(2) Will any orgs take nyc refs?
(3) Should I first see any Indy (like Bell), and then use that as a ref for the orgs?

I think you may able to use east coast ref here. Just send them the ads link from the the ref you use.
I use my ref from bay area for LA. Most the time are working for me
