When I used to travel in China a lot, it was different. Just part of the evening. Dinner, foot massage, then Karaoke, Spa or down to Shekou to hit up chicken street and find a girl. Had some amazing times, but it's a long fucking night.
Here? No way man, too risky. I'm not looking for a GF, just a quick bang and back to my life. What benefit is there to sharing that info?

No one in my real life knows. Loose lips sink ships boys. Sometimes I think I might want to tell someone but then I think when or if shit goes south you never know who people really are and what they will say. I have an SO and can’t risk anyone knowing. But I have to admit I don’t think I can ever stop this hobby. I have exchanged messages with other mongers mostly good conversation but we share a common interest. I have made one good friend through mongering. Super cool dude and it is nice to be able share our stories together without fear of something getting out. After all sometimes I can’t believe this shit. It is amazing to me. If I ever get separated from SO I don’t think I will ever waste money in a single date. I will be married to this game. Lol…

The thing is, people change. Friendship changes. Let's say you have an argument with your friend, and suddenly he is angry at you, and he knows your biggest secret, your k-girl history.
Now you just armed someone not on your side with a big weapon against you.
That is why anonymity is best. Also, some people are just bad with secrets, so they may blurb it out while talking too much or drunk or something.
For the best piece of mind, so you can sleep calmly every night, keep it to yourself.
