Doctor gave me shit for coming in for frequent std tests

Today, i went to a doctor for an std test and he gave me shit for it. He said “what are you doing that you need this many std tests?” “You shouldn’t have to come in every 3 months” ummm how about mind your own business? I hobby so im just doing my due diligence. Course i didnt say that to him but i found it odd he said that to me. Has this ever happened to anybody else? This is a kind of weird thing for the doctor to say to me right? It was like he was scolding me

Yes, extremely unprofessional of him.
I dropped my doctor in 2004 for the same reason.

Even if a lab allows you to schedule testing, they certainly cannot prescribe medicine for you if positive.

Nope. You buy the test online. Schedule the test online. Go and check in and they test you. No questions asked. Are they sizing you up? Probably but fuck them. At least you’re getting tested. After the test, when your results are ready, they will send them to you in a clear, easy-to-read report. You will have the option to speak with an independent physician. During this consultation, based off your results, and other factors, you may be eligible to receive treatment.

Report his/her ass to the state board. That’s unacceptable professional misconduct.

My doctors will have access to the 2 labs in our area. So they will see previous results next time they send you for routine bloodwork. By bypassing your doctor can you tell the lab not to post on their site?

When you fill out paperwork prior to lab, one of the items is "to whom this info can be released". Also, there's no reason to fill in your doctor's info if you don't want him/her to see this. Healthcare privacy is a huge deal (at least in this country).
