Hi all,
Happy Friday!
After reading numerous reviews of Carina and Nadia. I’m convinced I want to visit one of them, and experience it for myself.
However, I am a first timer at DDY and they asked to send ID and LinkedIn headshot with my name connections and top part. Is there any other way to provide verification to them? I’m just paranoid my data is sent over text.

DDY / SL doesn't do references, or at least they didn't for me. I dropped it with them. Plenty of other places around.

You can try to do verification over video call.

Or be very very persistent and charming I refused to provide my work info, so they spent literally 55 min screening me.

Then finally sent a current headshot, and mms said "you handsome Asian boy, come over now"

How long does the verification takes. Do we need to verify same day or can be done in advance ? Any place where verification can be done without work id ..may be a DL.

I think it depends on who's manning the phone and if it's busy. I got verified when they starting asking for DL over text but they eventually dropped that down to letting do a whatsapp vid chat, with their camera off, I did have to show ID when I got there but they didn't make a copy or some shut. It was quick glance barely enough for the person to even read my name.

Unfortunately it was not.
It was maybe 18 months ago

You just got to text them and roll with what they ask, and be persistent but polite re: what you can provide them for verification. As Talo noted, it'll depend on who you get on the phone, how busy it is, their mood, etc. For me last week, they didn't even ask for a video call or to see my ID, etc. Just a selfie at the end to finish the verification.

I’ve been on the fence forever about the verification thing too. But…if I ever somehow get in, I’m gonna wreak havoc in that bitch. It’ll be a trail of broken cervixes.

You guys, just do it! Stop thinking about the verification and actually go get verified. It's not like they are going to block or blacklist you if you don't get verified the first time. Just try again a couple of days later.
