@Gweiz024 is undoubtedly correct there are risks. I think the tricky question is how do you meaningfully isolate the universe where exposure was because of unprotected DATY vs bbbj or bbfs or anal or what have you. I dont think the statistics are reliable enough to say that giving vs receiving oral is significantly more or less risky, but if there are significant studies that would be good to know.

I have been DATY ing for years - of course I am very selective - has to pass the smell and look rest - having said that, the one issue i did have was with a very clean, young, causasian girl, college age in Westchester, was doing cuddling (yes cuddling lol) partime to earn a few dollars - session got going and morphed onto 69 - DATY / BBBJ - after the fact she confided that she thought she might have caught something from a friend ... ugghhh! - I wound up with a very, very sore throat - fortunitely we had some Doxycycline hanging around the house and I was able to self- medicate successfully before my SO found out. Probably of all the ladies I have DATY'd, I kinda felt that she was the least likely not to be clean - lessons learned - can't judge a book by its cover / keep your nose out of unvetted new pussy. Now I have a few regulars and I will only DATY those ladies, or ladies I have know a while.
