And exactly why would you want to use a credit card in these places? The cons definitely outweigh the only pro (being convenience)
Yes, I have been to dozens of places that take credit cards and have never used one. First I dont need a paper trail that I was ever there and when they charge a $500 tip on your card try explaining that to your company. Kind of surprised so many places do take cards, you would think they would want to be all cash

I agree 100% that you never leave a paper trail...not only would LE be able to find you, so would any good divorce attorney/investigator.

One reason that they may take CC's is for tax purposes- enables the place to show a small amount of income and launder the rest.

Also, they want to get paid.

Exactly. “Hi um I’m disputing a charge on my card from a massage parlor”

Like you want a credit card company investigating that.

To say nothing of the risks with a SO or LE.

With respect to LE you went to a licenses business for a legal service. So, they would have to catch you in the act of giving money for FS or a BJ or even a HJ. You would think that they would have better things to worry about this what consenting adults are doing, but it is what it is.

With regards to your SO, yes you may have some problems.

This is very true; but you’d be surprised how many guys would fold under “so you want us to believe you spent xyz on a massage at a place known for doing more?” And “we.have the statements. We have you going into the place. You might as well just tell us the truth now”.

You’d think LE had much better things to do but sadly it’s their focus now in a lot of areas.

I'd never use a credit card, no paper trail for me, whether wife or LE. Even though it's a legit licensed business, I don't need LE stopping at my house to ask questions. Same reason I use a text app to contact places for appointments or text a provider. Nothing easily traces back to me

There can be an upside.

If it's a travel card you can accumulate miles and use them for a trip to the DR or Colombia and have some great fun with young hot Girls.
You might want to check your math on this. When you use a travel card it takes a lot to accumulate a little. The buck-sixty, provided you are brave enough to put the tip on a card as well, will not generate enough point to be worth the risk of having a paper trail. It would be on record that you went to the "Asian Paradise Spa" and tipped Suzy Lu and her five fingers of fury.

Again, technically you are paying for a legal service (massage) at a licensed establishment but cash equals privacy.
