Went to Jaco. It was supposed to be monger paradise. It was not. The only DDG lafy i saw was this 2000cc milf (maybe 55?) bimbo who owned a sports bar and wasnt on the menu. Talent was frankly better locally and they charge too much down there.

Did you spend any time at Cocal pool bar? Unless things have changed in the last eight months it was business as usual, a plethora of 20 something girls and rates were very reasonable. Never been disappointed in Jaco or San Jose at the Hotel Del Rey. I usually stay at the Beach Break Resort, about a half of a mile from the Cocal.

Yes I agree in San Jose the Sportsman's Lodge and the Del Rey are basically point and click places to hunt. The reason I never traveled to Jaco is the 2 hour travel time to get there. Next time I may venture out there.

Going to Jaco on a mongering trip and not going to the Cocal is kinda nuts, in my opinion. Nearly 100% of the action in Jaco is centered around the Cocal. Without the Cocal it’s just a fairly sleepy small city with a nice beach. It’s been a few years since I was there but I recall the Cocal having dozens of girls each night, generally at prices around $150 for a short stay.

in San Jose I think the Del Rey is closed. The Sportsman’s Lodge I think is still going strong.

Is it better to go to Jaco or San Jose?

Jaco without a doubt. The ride from SJ is two hours long but it’s scenic. You can have your driver stop for cerveza and food. Another option is have a van from the Cocal pick you up at the airport with cold beverages and a girl or two, similar to some of the car companies in Thailand or the Philippines.

If it’s your first time stay at least one night in SJ at the Lodge or the Del Rey, all of the girls show up to the bar in the evening and it’s $10 for the room fee if you stay at either hotel. They are both well known for the girls and charter sports fishing trips.

I would say Jaco. San Jose has its charms but always feels a little sketchy and a bit unsafe. Jaco is a pretty chill town with some decent bars and restaurants, and a nice beach. More mongering options in SJ but you will find more than enough options in Jaco to keep you happy for at least a week.

Where can you find the best options in Costa Rica?

It wasn't 100% a mongering trip, but I do get what you mean. That place seemed to be the spot for it; but i thought they had a live feed camera and didn't want to risk it.
