Medellin is far from lawless and in no way should even be mentioned with Camden. You should take your precautions, but you should be okay, just stay in the tourist/business area. If anything, you definitely don’t want to act up out there because the police will take you in quickly. Medellin isnt bad, I’ve never had an issue. Just be mindful like you would in any unknown territory but to shorten things, stay in the Poblado area. Ive traveled to Medellin twice by myself and it's the most fun ive probably had on any vacation. So for starters you can find a bunch of girls near Parque Lleras. a lot of them are 10s. just be mindful and keep and eye on your drinks and don't let them serve you anything. Check out a place called Loutron its basically brothel that is in a mansion best service I ever had. Also if you're just walking around el poblado there's a place called jade spa which is ok. Try the Sosua, DR for Haitians, Dominicans and Venezuelans. It’s $50-100 per tryst, but everything else is so cheap, I can’t fathom spending more than $200 per day on everything. Hell, if you stay somewhere a few blocks from the beach, that $200 might cover room, fun, food and drinks. Another suggestion is Ecuador. Guayaquil and Quito, if you can stand the altitude, are dirt cheap for companions.
Thats an interesting statistic and I am happy the citizens of Medellin are less likely to die from being murdered! However the likelihood of being a victim of crime in any form is my measure of safety, not just avoiding murder. Theft, assault, wounded, beaten, raped etc. are all things that could ruin my day. Rarely do I count not being murdered as a good day.
I have heard and read both good and bad about Medellin, Cali and Bogata. Generally sounds like fun and well worth it - beautiful women, very low prices. Gringos stand out and are subject to the same stupid shit everywhere. Don't take an open drink or lose sight of your drink in public (rooofies). Don't flash cash around. If you go to a strip club or pick-up disco, be clear about the rules. Girls drinks can be 4-5x regular drinks. Lots of info on the web. You can also use an app Tinder or SA to pre-meet a few chicks and set plans up before you go. If someone set up a bachelor party there, they probably know their way around. I'd just go and enjoy the ride!
I recently ( month ago) went to Cartagena Columbia. It was safe, you could get girls at day time by texting the phone # on all the advertised sites. The price ranges from 35$ to about 100$. At night just walk to clock tower area and you will fine so many good looking providers that to pick one would be tough. There are per hour rooms available so if you don’t want to take them back to you hotel it’s still fine the rooms cost about 20-25$ the provider is about 80$ or less. Pay in Columbia peso. We did lot of other activities too and never felt unsafe.
