i use Hushed, only $30/year. I was using google voice, but if i don't use it for a while, they removed it.

I bought a T-Mobile burner phone at Target. They sell a prepaid card to load minutes & data. Just don’t use any of your personal info.

Paying for a burner app is creating a trail in which your SO catches you. Don’t ever do that. Also, google warns you that they will remove your number (like once every few years) and give you the chance to tell them you’re still using it. Or just let them take it away and get a new number.

It's so easy to decode even my mom can find it out with youtube subscription. Search box kills helps everyone.
