I have the same concern. People seem to hope there is some sort of magic cut off date for the problem to end. There isn't. We are only at the early stage of things. Society only has so much glue to hold it together, and the economic impacts are just starting.

time to start putting in a garden and learning how to can vegetables and dig a root cellar. Or maybe start hunting again after 45 years.

Or you can just be like the suckers here who just wait for the government to tell them what to do and starve in the line wearing your scarf. you'll line up for seeds after all the government insiders have bought theirs.

Situation seems desperate.

Its not hopeless, but the next 3-4 weeks are going to be terrible. Maybe after that people will start paying attention and the government will start making better decisions. But alot of people are going to die needlessly because we didnt start preparing in january.
Nurising homes in particular are going to get hammered, over the next couple weeks.

I made 8 different stops from 6 am to 1 pm today. I noticed more people are wearing masks and gloves, which was good to see as opposed to last week. I think more people are taking this case seriously.

However, disclaimer that I am not a racist or prejudicing the specific culture, I also noticed that, from what I have seen today, Amish people were not wearing masks and gloves. Makes me wonder if their immune system is stronger than ours?

Probably much stronger.
They grow up and live their entire lives around farm animals and are always outside digging in the dirt.
I would imagine they drink raw milk as well.

Amazing. Churches consider themselves essential. Their was an interview with a Catholic priest and he said, we are open but not holding in person services. All services are on line.
On line is fine, but just crazy to allow services. Especially in a state with an elderly population.

Govt officials blinded by stupidity, but that is nothing new.

Online services can be done, and for parishioners with no option for online at home, there are still ways to make that available to them for viewing safely.

But its harder for the churches to collect the money when everyone is at home.

Maybe we ought to walk barefeet everywhere to build stronger immune system? I noticed Amish ladies working barefeet when they mow their lawns.

My guess is a lot of people would believe that the mask makes them "invulnerable" to the disease and act accordingly.
Already have one.
That's messy though.
Wouldn't want to put my landlord out with the cleaning up...
Stick your head in the toilet bowl. That would keep the cleaning expense low. Only kidding sir.
We are going to get thru this and when we do, life will be so much sweeter for everyone.

I live right on the border of DE and they are absolutely locking down the state. The rats are fleeing the high risk areas in search for safer grounds. Unfortunately, it is this transient behavior that is killing us.

At this point, I wish I lived in a state that was taking this as seriously as DE. It is the right thing to do.

Hell is you only getting old and ugly providers and they only get old and ugly customers.
I sometimes imagine Monger Hell as being surrounded by beautiful, nubile naked women who constantly tease the shit out of you. Except you have no arms or legs & your mouth is sewed shut. So you can't touch them or even yourself. Meanwhile, the pressure in your balls monotonically increases for all eternity with no hope of relieving the pressure. And it won't even leak out.

HAHAHAHA, it is a really slow leak that occurs in your saliva glands so you will perpetually eat your own cum!!!! Oh, if you do happen to get excited enough to blow, it is definitely filling your mouth until you are literally choking in it for your life. Waterboarding may be a pleasant relief!
