I am pleased to say that I can give a very positive review to this spa.
Let me start by saying that the two photos on Yelp are authentic, although a couple of years old. For example Jessi, who gave me my massage today now has brown not blond hair. Let me also say that she is quite attractive and probably in her very early 30s.
Also as stated in a post above, this is a side business in a spa that these two women run. The facility itself is quite nice/classy and in a very safe neighborhood. It was a little hard to find, but once I found their front door I was quite impressed. It was very easy to get comfortable in this environment.
Let me say two things. The first is that I am not interested in FS or extras; so that fact that that is not available here is irrelevant to me. The other is that I am concerned about human trafficking, so I would never go to a Chinatown spa. In that vein, I had no sense that that was in issue here.
I opted for the $180 bikini massage (really more of bra and panties) since it was my first time here and I thought the other options sounded a little steep without more information.
The massage starts face down and Jessi's touch was just perfect -- light enough to be sensual and just firm enough to get the muscles in the legs and back to relax (if you have back problems and need something more aggressive, find a chiropractor or massage therapist). The same was true when I turned face up and Jessi massaged my thighs and chest. The final part of the massage started out with a very light touch but as it continued Jessi was very accommodating to my request that she be a little firmer in her massaging.
When it was over I was offered to be cleaned up with hot steamy towels or to take a shower. I opted for the towels, which was very sensuous, but to be honest, not very effective in getting the massage oils off. Next time I will opt for the shower.
One last thought. Street parking in the neighborhood is a real pain, but there are several reasonably priced lots in the area -- go for a parking lot rather than stressing yourself out.
Again, it was a very good experience and if this type of facility is your cup of tea, then I wholeheartedly recommend this spa to you.
