Peter Gabriel - Summer 1994 in Philly. The best part was my college sweetheart giving me a HJ the entire way home, then had me take her in every room of her parents house as soon as we were through the door. Why/How they never woke up is beyond me.

Best for sound was probably ELO Out of the Blue late 70’s at the Spectrum. They started playing and came up from inside the stage that was designed as a spaceship. Been to more famous, or wild ones, but that stands out as the one that sounded the best.

Went to an AC/DC concert back in ? Took a younger buddy, my treat. Smoking weed was allowed during the show. My buddy blew smoke into the face of a LEO inadvertently, got himself pinched and detained. My girlfriend and I were informed it would take a few hours for him to be processed and that we might as well see the concert so we did. He was 17/18 at the time and two years younger than me, after the venue we were informed as to a couple places he would have been taken. We left with directions, no cell phones at the time, lol. As my girl and I got closer to my vehicle we could see someone leaning on the side and away from our view, finally realized it was my buddy, he said the cops took what weed he was carrying and held the door open for him to leave, took his stub and did not let him see the show, AC/DC was his favorite. There encore song was For those about to rock (we salute you) which ends with multiple cannon blasts and loss of hearing. Needless to say he fooking missed a great show.

We almost made the trip from NJ to Yasgur's Farm, 1969. I was 17.
Had a buddy who had a vw window van. Coerced me into going with several other friends from SJ, Vineland to be specific. I had no clue what it would be. What a fucking mess but we had a blast. Lost my cherry there too.

Paul McCartney-2002. We had nosebleeds they had extra seats up front; and went to the worst seats to upgrade us. Only a few rows back from stage; what an upgrade. The woman next to us had lost her husband in the 9/11 attacks and in the middle of the show they presented her some signed stuff and Paul literally looked right at us as she was getting it.

Also his wife with the one leg was in the audience A few seats away. She looked so miserable. Not sure what Paul was thinking with her.

First rock concert for me was in 1980 featuring Santana, Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush, Angel and Humble Pie. Took a tab of acid called Saturn as we arrived to the event, to smoke some weed at this point would have been a waste.

You all are so lucky to have been around during the days of amazing music. My concert days started in 2001. At that point all the amazing bands of the 60s, 70s, and 80’s where either well past their prime, or had long since stopped touring or at worst where dead.

Somebody else mentioned same tour but easily 1973 Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon tour, mine at Cape Cod Coliseum. Didn't matter that special effects are much better now. That massive fireworks rocket in between "on the run" and "time" was all time best fx. All the stoned kids in the crowd were just in shocked silence.

I was lucky to have 2 sons that enjoyed music in 2001. I was their means of transportation so I went to many shows, Blink 182, New Found Glory, Weezer, Green Day and the Warp Tour in Englishtown.
