thats how mine started, and then I woke up with a high fever and could barely walk. I couldn't get out of bed for 3 days, had no appetite for 5, and today is the first day in a week I actually feel like a human being again. It was not a joke. I was lucky as I am vaxed and did not have any respiratory issues and was able to get through it. If i was not vaxed, and with HBP and Type 2 diabetes and a history of lung issues and a cancer survivor I would have been in the hospital.
really? 3.5 years in and you still don't get it. Masks and the vaccinations do NOT prevent you from getting the virus. They prevent you from DYING from the virus and reduce your chances of getting it and getting very sick, but you can STILL get it. Just like a flu shot, you can still get the flu. Its not like a polio shot, etc, that totally gives you immunity. Polio does not mutate. The flu viruses mutate. That is why can STILL get sick, but you don't die. How anyone can STILL not understand this is beyond my comprehension. Please, educate yourself for your own good. SMH.
OMG solomon. You are an idiot. You can still get a virus that mutates even if you are vaccinated. That is why there is a YEARLY flu shot. Other diseases like the measels, polio, etc, do not mutate, which is why one vax and you are good. That is not the case with flu viruses including covid. They MUTATE, which is why you can still get the virus. The pandemic has behaved exactly like the scientists like Fauci said it would, bit by bit. unfortunately George, so many people still think covid was a hoax and "not so bad" despite all of the evidence to the contrary. This country would have been much better off with a different POTUS at the time that was not afraid of "looking weak" by not denying it and attacking it from day one instead of politicizing it like he did. Him standing there each day was not because he thought it would help the american people but beause he liked the attention and making believe he was doing something. Remember, HE is the one who disbanded the pandemic response office that Obama put in place and if that office was active and he allowed people to do their jobs no matter how it affected him our response would have been faster and less people would have died. History will not treat that sexist,racist, wife cheater well, for many aspects of his presidency, including Covid.
I agree with what you said, except Fauci is not a good guy, he literally said on national TV that masks are not effective, which he later admitted that he knowingly lied to the American public to prevent masks being sold out.
Also, Fauci led NIH funded the corona virus research project, at the Wuhan lab that covid was created at. Then he lied to Congress about that too.

Not sure how much "faster" our response can be, as only masks and vaccine would be effective in controlling the pandemic, Fauci was on TV saying masks don't work, and Trump had funded 8 vaccine research in operation WarpSpeed within 2 months into the pandemic, which resulted in the Moderna vaccine. Also Trump wore masks when appearing in public. What exactly is a "pandemic response team" going to do here to make the response "faster"?

i disagree. look you can swing it any way you want. The point is anything you do to reduce your chance of getting sick is something you should do. Its up to you to do it or not. I know many people who did not and did not get vaxed who then got sick and regretted their decisions. I also know many people who did not get vaxed who never got sick and still think pizzagate is true. We are all adults. Do what you want and stay off my lawn unless you are coming to have a beer and talk or cut it. LOL.
