I was in Nashville unexpectedly for a week last year. Took me a while to find a few amps on the outskirts, and without a car I don’t generally like to be dropped off in a new neighborhood and have to wait for an Uber on exit. I did find a few Indys working out of airport hotels, but again it was as drive. I was staying off broadway and didn’t want to do the wait of shame for an uber.

I agree there is a lot of other fun to be had, and bar for every speed (drunk dive hookups to high-end pickups). I’ll see if I can pull the list of amps for you.

I meant waiting for an Uber in a bad neighborhood I don’t know, like safety. I don’t give a damn about what people think in my own city. Their amps are outside of the Nashville proper. In pretty shitty areas.

And I think the guy’s point is he can pick-up people, but sometimes you still want an amp. I get that.

I had a brief conversation with my county Sheriff running for reelection... so amongst other issues I asked him his thoughts about prostitution. He believes that most of it occurs in hotels, that the state of Tennessee has a task force working to keep it under control, and that he has one resource permanently assigned to work with the task force.

I also found out that there is a state-wide regulation that drapes must be used in massage parlors.

Man, I really miss California!
