There is a big difference between Oral Herpes and Genital Herpes. I hate the fact that they put them together. I got oral herpes when I was a kid for sharing cups and bottle juices, etc. Not from sex. 50% of the world has oral herpes according to statistics so it must be more than that. So there is a big difference. Both should be labeled differently. Back to the ops question. I'm not condoning unsafe sex. I believe you should wear rubbers. But in general is difficult to get an STI for men. It's easier for a women to get an STI from a man. And think about it. In today's age, people don't die from STI/STDs. There are pretty much cures for most STIs. Shots and antibiotics, etc. You can even get PreP before you have sex to protect from HIV. But of course, nothing is ever 100% safe. So always practice safety.
