Just curious. Over the years I've done GFE several dozen times and never caught anything (that I didn't already have, ie herpes) and was curious if anyone else ever has?

There is a big difference between Oral Herpes and Genital Herpes. I hate the fact that they put them together. I got oral herpes when I was a kid for sharing cups and bottle juices, etc. Not from sex. 50% of the world has oral herpes according to statistics so it must be more than that. So there is a big difference. Both should be labeled differently. Back to the ops question. I'm not condoning unsafe sex. I believe you should wear rubbers. But in general is difficult to get an STI for men. It's easier for a women to get an STI from a man. And think about it. In today's age, people don't die from STI/STDs. There are pretty much cures for most STIs. Shots and antibiotics, etc. You can even get PreP before you have sex to protect from HIV. But of course, nothing is ever 100% safe. So always practice safety.

Oral and genital herpes different strands but they effectively function the same way. You can get oral herpes (HSV1) on genitals and Genital (HSV2) on your mouth.

Well thankfully I've never had a cold sore, acne, or syphilis in my life lol
I never get cold sores on my mouth either. Mine is silent or dormant. Apparently I'm only a carrier. I would never have none I had it if I had not checked. There is medicine for acne and there is a cure for syphilis. I've never had any other STI/STD besides oral herpes. For syphilis, the cure is a shot of penicillin on your ass and then it goes away after 1 week. And then you are good as new. But like I said b4. I don't condone unsafe practices. Always use a rubber. I heard that injection in your ass really hurts.

You would think in todays age people would use Google. Ok, That's an exaggeration, but ok. That's not how one get STI/STDs. Not even close. But It's always good to be safe. You do you and let others do theirs. That's all.

There's literally millions of people having unprotected sex everywhere everyday, that's how new humans come into existence or else the human race would cease to exist and for sure there wouldn't be 8 billion people on the planet. Are they getting sti?

I once caught hepatitis B. Don’t know if from the hobby or what. I found out I had antibodies but my body got rid of it. I’ve always covered up with everything

Alot of these so-called STD's are just regular health problems that have nothing to do with sex. I remember reading a book written by a doctor where he says herpes is nothing more than just a zinc deficiency in the body.

I got molluscum contagiosum years ago (took a little while to clear up). I think it was ultimately caused by a table shower, so I've opted away from them since. Standing shower or alcohol bath for me, please.

Molluscum was very annoying, though super benign.
