I work amongst LE (biggest mongers FYI) teachers, business owners etc so I empathize with all points of view. I comprehend the burdens of starting your own business and getting fucked over with taxes and regulation. At the same time I also understand that my tax dollars goes to support all of us so I want teachers and cops, basically people that take care of me, my friends and family be well compensated. Why are we constantly sucking big corporate dick and please don’t tell me the old “they create (low wage) jobs” cause it’s been proven bs

Most of us here are live around the NY tri-State area and we’re in a bubble. NYC is like a city-State, a world on its own. Even if we do bad it’s not as severe as the rest of the country. So I guess I am idealistic and what I expect is fairness regardless of party affiliation

I want to keep the money I earn. To me that is fair. I'm the one getting up at 5.15 AM. Not some pot smoking 3rd grade teacher

You are correct..we are lucky here in the tristate area...all major companies and financial institutions are here...go to any small town...low pay jobs...if jobs at all... and therein lies the distrust of "big city people"

Who's bitching? I'm stating a fact. I have to get up early and commute to work. I'm out of the house 12 hours a day.
Public school teachers work 5 hours a day 180 days a year. And constantly complain like 5 year olds. Fuck them and anyone who sympathizes with them.

I’m not trying to sound like a dick but again, who told you to live in Long Island and have a job where you need to commute for so long? Don’t like taxes and teachers then move to Florida like Donny did. You guys do have some of the best school and law enforcement in the country. If I were a suburban parent I would like to live there

And I went to Catholic grade school/high school/college.
There is nothing in the constitution about a public school system. It should be disbanded.
Public school teachers are the most spoiled/privileged fucks out there.
It was NEVER meant to be a bread winning profession.
It was a job for females who wanted to work part time to supplement their husbands primary income.
But with this women's lib crap, it was elevated to something it was never meant to be. It has to stop.

Yeah, no name calling. I saw Dr. Anthony Fauci say that the US will likely need some sort of social distancing requirement. We don't use the word lockdown. But interactions in areas that contain more than 50 people should not be done. I was in a small restaurant last night. My hearing is still pretty good and all I heard was coughing. My sense is the mortality rate is actually about 5 percent. Which strikes me as a very high number when this thing actually hits hard in the US.

My guess is it’s going to be a lot lower, unless it keeps getting into cruise ships and nursing homes.
