Hello mongers, a few months ago I gave up the hobny after close to two years of it. I had lost my virginity doing it and became addicted and i was afraid it was going to ruin my chances of being able to form a relationship normally (more than however it already has ruined it). I walked away and I wanna go back to 'the chase' but i just have a few worries, so i used a condom every time i actually fucked but between bjs and kisses, im just a little worried about being clean. I'm a 22 y/o college student (much of this happening during covid) and i wanna get with girls and obviously for my future encounters with women but im worried about something coming up. Should I take some sort of hiv/std test just to make sure?

Get a full sti screening for your piece of mind.
Your college medical office most likely offers them.
But if you don't want to use them, see stdcheck.com.
It's very convenient. I've used them many times.
They'll test for everything, even HSV antibodies.
The only thing they cannot test for is HPV. You should make an appt with a dermatologist to check for that -- but if you have no outward symptoms even that will not tell. There is no laboratory HPV test for males like there is for females.
Other than those two I mentioned, the condom probably kept you quite safe.
But honestly, since you are 22, you probably had the HPV vaccine, so HSV would be the only one to which you may have been exposed.

If you want complete piece of mind, go and get an std test. If you never barebacked a crackwhore in the ass, I can say with 99% certainty that you are clean. (The chances of contracting anything through blowies and kissing is minuscule)

Hi guys so thanks on the feedback. I've been busy with school and work so I haven't been able to schedule a std test at a medical facility however im looking at the services that my uni provides and under that it does say sti and hiv screening. Should I take that route or look i look for one that tests for everything?
I’m mixed on “the chase” vs “the buy”. I’m fairly aloof with women when I go out with them and my success rate is pretty high. I do love that feeling of the “take down” and all of that. But what I’m paying for is to not have to deal with the aftermath. I suffer from pretty intense anxiety and it’s hard to have a girl want you and know you are hurting them emotionally. So I do a mix.
I have done both at the same time. I get it though it can mess with your head b/c the hobby is not reality and the chase is way too hard for most men. Thus you get the dopamine reward when hobbying but not so often when chasing. It took me a long time to be able to separate the two. But I def respect the sentiment. It's a good time for you to get laid care free in college. I'm not gonna tell you to do pickup classes but look into some things to make you more attractive to women. They aren't too picky at your age and are horny and open to experimentation. Just acting "normal" will put you ahead of 90% of guys.
Sure get checked if it'll give you peace of mind. I hobbied covered only for over 5 years and caught nothing except the occasional cold. Most stuff that's easy to catch would give you symptoms. So maybe an hsv test (which tonnes of people have) and check for hpv. But you could catch those with civilians too.
