I was in Japan and needed to see a Doctor a few years ago. Nothing serious in that I had ear wax clogging my ear and was afraid of flying back home with a clogged ear. A Japanese family took me to their local clinic and the Doctor agreed to see me (it is a big deal in Japan seeing a Doctor, especially in a family clinic, for them to treat a foreigner, gaijin). While I was getting my ear wax removed I was able to see a variety of patients getting accupunture, in the face. It was not a pretty sight. They stick needles places that make me shiver. That said, the Japanese are among the healthiest people on the planet earth! While it's not for me, it must be doing some good.

Check with SpaHaven in Newtown. They had, not sure if they still have, an acupuncturist that worked out of their office. BTW, this is a 100% therapeutic only spot, please don't embarrass yourselves in looking/asking for extra's here...

LOL - I had a provider give me acupuncture a few times. A girl I am good friends with was studying acupuncture and was working in a clinic at the time to get her license. She asked if I would volunteer to come in for a treatment. Did it a few times and found it very relaxing. She couldn't give me a happy ending in the clinic. Made me take her for dinner/drinks afterwards and then got to screw her brains out.

Yes, she’s very good. Knows what she’s doing and does it well !

It’s incredible doubted the hell out of it and the science and physics just doesn’t make sense but I had an injury snd did massage therapy (legit) physical therapy etc. and then I did this and it worked four sessions later I’m cured. Definitely not psychosomatic, huge doubter. But it works.
