40th Rd Spa raided today

I see that a "spa" on 40th road was raided today. Also saw another place that was shut down (few blocks from Northern boulevard). Are the police becoming more active recently, regarding the spa?

i am surprised more on the street takedowns do not happen.
Besides the woman trying to pull men from the streets,there is always a bunch of gawkers
just blocking the flow of foot traffic...
i thought the new mayor was going to avoid going after a working gal...

It's a few blocks away from northern boulevard, called "AA1 Spa". The number still works, but they send you to a different location now

When I walked by the raid yesterday I overheard at least 3 groups of Gen Z's talking about the girls that were usually there and their TikToks. These kids go just to film and look on. Can't help the situation. Damn Youths!

Can’t verify the girls are in double or not but clearly they blocked 40th and cleaned up house while everyone was watching. I feel horrible for any monger that needed to be “evacuated” talk about the walk of shame!!
tbh, it was very unpleasant to walk there with niece a few weeks ago. She’s 16 and asked me why these old ladies are dressed that way and why are they all here to which I responded, how’s your ice cream honey? Lol

But don’t worry, I’m sure they will just migrate to another spot.

I was told 5 got arrested but let go by 5 in the morning, still they are in trouble with the record. Don't think they will be prosecuted though. The main reason and cause was different, as I said, and the owner is in trouble, but he was asking for it as far as I know.

let's just say that the trigger was an illegal gambling den and sale of alcohol without license. Girls were collateral damage. All businesses connected to the same owner running the premises.

Would there even be a record if they they got let go the next morning? Doesn't that usually means they have nothing on them? No charges to press. In which case they don't keep records as their would be nothing to keep.

The question is do you want to be that John and spend 5+ hours in the precinct then walk back home at 5 in the morning, let's say, and do a lot of explaining to do to your family, if you have one, and employer, if you have one? If none, you don't really care. BUT, the record is there even if you are not prosecuted. And this record is easy to pull when the background check is done. Just my 2 cents. Stay safe.

Background checks don't contain records of detainment they contain records of convictions. I know I use to pull them frequently as an employer.

Look I'm just trying to seperate facts from speculation here. I'm not saying you don't have a valid point. But some of those arguments aren't the entire story. In any case you would be right in that it's not a pretty thing to have to explain to anyone or go through.
