Korea is 25th in cost of living but 203rd (last) in child birth.

So it cant be cost of living, as its more expensive HERE. Most expensive countries are the cool carribean resort spots

Bermuda Switzerland Cayman IslandsUs Virgin Islands Bahamas Barbados, I can assure you caribbean women are quite in favor of having babies.

Chairman Lee, correct me if I am wrong but I would speculate the Korean girls here in america are different than back in actual Korea? As all the girls that I have met from Ft/Palisades are married or looking for a boy. I have yet to meet a north jersey korean girl who wants to work for the next 40 years and be a spinster with no kids. Is it because we have such a strong church community here?

Wages are less. Minimum wage is like 7 bucks or something like that.
Korean culture is quite different.
Academic competition is brutal and parents spend an arm and leg to send their kids to after school programs and academies.
Kids come home around 10PM if not later and parents take out loans to do so.
When ppl say kids are endless money pits... they ain't joking in ROK.

But question... why is this being discussed here? I thought this thread was about Gold! lol

lol. I guess gold management people are either Koreans or Chinese that live near boarder also speak Korean. But maybe 99% of girls are from China. We should talk about birth rate and cost of living in China too lol.

The average office worker in Seoul makes around $4K to $5K USD a month. A two-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment in Seoul is on average around $1 Million USD so both the husband and wife will need to bust their asses just to make ends meet.

Education for children is also a major cost. My nephew is only 9 years old and he attends English classes at an after school program, three times a week (one hour each time) and that costs around $1,800 USD a month.

Many Korean women in America want to get married because they love the school environment for their future kids and the quality of life (especially in NJ compared to Korea).

You’re right about the wages in Korea.

A manager of a restaurant in Seoul makes around $3K a month, a middle school or high school teacher makes around $2,500 USD a month, etc.

My other nephew who graduated from high school in Seoul two years ago attended after-school classes from 5pm to 1am, Monday to Saturday. He took English, Math, and Chemistry.

Children are def a money pit. My parents spent $560,000 for my brother from 5th grade to the end of undergrad. Private school, and a private college. They asked him to take out loans for medical school cause they just didn’t want to spend another $320,000.

That’s just how Asian/Indian parents are. They value education.

Even in the worst possible situation my brother is going to make around $5M post tax from his salaried earnings so that’s still a return of around 6x though. Again this is in the worst possible situation.

Yeah but INDIAN people have babies, both american and south asian. Both cultures stress education, but 1 group of girls want to have babies and the other refuses to.

We got on this topic because we were speculating how everyone like korean girls, but can you actually imagine marrying a girl, paying all her bills and you get nothing out of it for 40 years other than a cute companion. Id need a son, or at least a daughter, if im gonna commit to 1 woman AND pay these bills

Oh I didn’t know Korean women aren’t having children. The town I grew up in Bergen was around 8% Korean back then, and is possibly 15% Korean now.

Most families had kids. One Korean friend I knew had a black father, and Native American grandfather. Hugely benefitted from affirmative action lol.

Asian intelligence with Black AA along with Native American govt benefits is the best combo.

In Palisades Park, most of LE are Korean. Whenever I get pulled over, I pretend that I cannot speak English. But once I got pulled over in Palisades Park, the cop was Korean so I couldn’t pull that shit off on him. lol

Hope you enjoyed your time with Tiffany and it really doesn't matter but Tiffany has been a regular part of Golds rotation for a while.
Same Tiffany? I’ve been to Gold a lot and never met her. She and the manager both mentioned it to me without me asking. She wasn’t listed on the Coco line up on X. They could both have been lying of course but it makes no difference to me either way.
