If your spidey senses start tingling as you approach, then leave. This is not the time for the little man to talk you into things. Like others have said, stick with people who have been reviewed previously. I don't usually partake in these situations as I'm always guarded and then I don't end up having a good time. If I do go to motels, it is always a provider or service that I've used before or based on a recommendation from a trusted monger.
In my humble opinion, very well put forth. Always think with the big head and not the little one. Unless, you are Bill Furnuture!

Personally I don’t go to motels. But I have gone through hotels since the pandemic started only because a few of my AMP favs agreed to meet with me at these places. In these case I knew all the ladies and I reserve the rooms. In couple of cases I picked them up from Queens and Brooklyn and drop them back at their places.

Earlier, I mentioned my Red Roof experiences. Seems that a lot of adverts on bedpage (and backpage before it), use this place (in S.Plainfield). I know that many have mentioned that they avoid bedpage as a rule. Was wondering if anyone had any experiences (good/bad) at this specific local. Feel free to PM if you don't wish to be too public.

* No, I have not posted much on this site ... but was a regular for several years on SH ... in case you're wondering. -H

I have only met providers I trust at hotels. Last time I did that was just before the pandemic with my favorite down in AC.
Exactly. Why go to the Red Roof or Motel 6 places and put yourself in a position where you’re gonna have less than a Stella time. Yes, almost all of us have done it and yes, most have regrets. It’s not worth the time, effort or money .

I'm batting 1000 off motels in NJ. I am damn near close to batting 1000 in long island motels as well.

I should have added that we met at a casino hotel not a Red Roof Inn type place.

Any Latina indys with good reviews on the forum there are many but not sure who to choose
Now choosing among many is a different topic. Check those supposedly good reviews. Are the gents doing them names you recognize. Have the reviewers been ones you’ve seen other reviews from or is it just names of seemingly newer guys? Reviews are a clue just as the hotel could be as to what’s behind the door. Choosing among many means not rushing.

BestT- You are oh so correct in my humble opinion.

All reviews are not always the same. You get to know the ones that are more and less trusted by who writes them. In my experience, patterns typically develop over a period of time.

Know your geography. For example, what problems are typical where you monger? In the city where I live they are going after serious drugs, guns, and violence. They are likely not going to go after a low profile provider.

That being said, you’re going to have to look out for scams. Is it a bait and switch? A guy trying to set you up? Or, someone who is just unreliable and won’t show? This is part of the hunt, and after doing it a few times you will be able to sense what’s going on fairly well. Note: that if you don’t trust your gut instincts it is always a bad move.

Usually, you go to the location. Say you are there. Provider gives you the room, and they are already dressed skimpy, if not nude, indicating it’s legit.

yh33-Very well thought out post with some very wise ideas. Thanks for sharing them.

Guys-My true emphasis on this thread is fairly simple. If you have been around this hobby and the various boards for quite awhile, you will eventually become fairly close with a few select members. Most times they are developed due to the fact that they participate in the same general area, have similar likes and dislikes, and of course write reviews that you learn to trust. They become respected by you. Hopefully, the way it works is a give and take (reciprocal). In the many years that I have been a participant, I have discovered several of these individuals that I proudly call my trusted colleagues (notice not the word friends).
