I definitely agree. Even for a wife without an AMP past, communicating with old BFs, or even male friends, should be Verboten. Many of the couples who are still together after a long time (5+ yrs) decided to move for this kind of reason--to sever ties from the past and start where few if anyone knew them. If they do not move it is harder. It is near impossible for a woman to literally not "contact any man at all" just as a man cannot avoid interacting with all women and still function in society. Unless she lives in a place like in Saudi Arabia. That isn't how the world in the US works (except for some weird communities in places I would not care to live; there are some in deep Appalachia, and Utah, and a few others).
