Well they have been getting robbed more now than ever before. With the crime rate steadily increasing all over NYC the providers will be the first ones hit hard by opportunistic thieves. I used to be on the fence about providers keeping their pimps or muscle near by but I understand now that it might be a necessity. However the paradox here is that 99% of John's will avoid any provider that has a pimp lingering near by, myself included lol.
to be fair these girls have a good amount of tools to help protect against that sort of thing(before paying money to dipshits for protection that they most likely cant provide). plenty of ways to screen and she can also reach out to other girls and from a network to help filter out guys that are bad for business. i have seen maybe 5 girls on ocean ave, each of them within a walking distance from the other. no reason why they shouldnt trade info with each other now and then to make life easier.
the locals are still here cause they dont have the resources to leave. and the trash people that left are the people that supported all this bullshit(ie hipster whites).
im not optimistic. all that office space in manhattan will be downsized/gutted since companies/people have grown accustom to remoting in. that means all those businesses that supported that location(food, dry cleaners, day care, transportation) are done for. and that ignores the trash policies in the city that will justify leaving the city entirely(ie wait for those tax rates to hit). and im ignoring the problems in the outer boroughs(ie a lot of people are not paying rent/utilities and are going into massive debt). watch what happens when the mummy calls for another shut down.
