I don’t think anyone ever asks a spa worker about other guys, they just start talking and talking. It’s they who initiate the conversation and start talking about their clients. They probably talk about them for a couple of reasons. And, as much as they tell us, they tell each other a hell of a lot more. I know one would tell me about other mongers to make me jealous. Sometimes, if one knows you are seeing one that she knows and she wants your business, all of it, she will tell you about the mongers that the other one is seeing and how much money they give her, the gifts they give her, all kinds of nonsensical BS to try and get you to leave the other one. All they do is talk. I’ve heard so much about other mongers it’s boring. The providers I like the best are the ones that don’t talk about other mongers. I don’t mind them telling me about other providers as it gives me some insight into their lives and what they are like, but I could care less about other mongers.

Is it just me or does anyone else make up a fake name and backstory each time?
I try not to. If I like a place I'll be coming back, and don't want to risk being called out. I never give specific details, just keep it general.

Heard plenty of stories. I just "uh huh" a lot back.

Is it just me or does anyone else make up a fake name and backstory each time? I've been a bartender, I've been in the Air Force, I was a radio DJ once. I've been single, I've had five kids. Everything. It's actually kind of fun if they ask 'ahhhhhh, you strong.....you play sports?'. That was the time I was a retired baseball player.
LOL. Done exact same thing.
