The two cases of plague in Mongolia is suspected of resulting from eating wild rabbits, but the origin of this strain of virus is still unknown. Even worse is no ones knows enough about the virus to tell if someone can be a carrier and not exhibit symptoms. Meaning they can easily pass the screenings and infect others. Hard to prevent since we're still not sure how the virus is transmitted.
