sup guys, on 9/9 I was doing what I would sometimes do if I was done early with work. grab dinner, chill, and go take a stroll on roosevelt. Was doing my normal walk from 76th on up. I was done mongering on 88th and and was walking towards the 90th street station to jump on the 7 train because I was too lazy to walk. Get on the 7 train and there was one lady sitting on the other end of it. I get off at 74th and was walking back to my car and as I'm walking on 75th street just passing the chase crossing 37th Rd three guys with hoodies came up behind me and ask me to empty my pockets which I did once I saw one of the guys had a gun. I only had 40 bucks on me so I gave it to them and they took off towards roosevelt. thankfully I wasn't hurt but this is a warning just be careful. It's also my fault I didn't look around once I left the subway station. They didn't want an old iPhone I was using and luckily I left my wallet in the car. They saw my BMW keys but I said I was just walking back to my place. I wasn't wearing any jewelry or a watch so I'm not sure why they targeted me

Man, I'm not sure one was def black but the other two were light skinned but as soon as the second guy pulled out a gun I started shaking. I emptied my pockets as fast as I could. I knew if I fought back he might shoot me and take off
Looking back he probably didn't want my phone because he didn't have my passcode and he wouldn't have been able to disable find my iPhone

good advice. If no one is around and you are pretty much cornered in an empty, quite spot - comply, don't take chances. If in a busy street or close by, try to run and yell for help. Yes, as awkward as it sounds, it often times scares them off, they don't expect this. 1 vs 3 - don't take chances to fight off, never. Either comply or run, if you can and surroundings allow it.
Holy shit... can't believe that and how scary... you came by chase so maybe they thought you went to the ATM? .... If you don't mind but what nationality are you and age etc ... why would they target you as you said no jewelry etc... are you old ... skinny .... etc... sorry to ask.. but I'm very curious and to be honest a little concerned since I go over there on 88th but usually stay away from that area since it was always shady... and you weren't on roosevelt didn't help.... thanks in advance... luckily you still had cash on you... if you didn't who knows how bad they would of shaken you down... gonna carry two pockets of cash for now on... I usually do but gonna make sure now... dang..
